When you envision your retirement, what do you see?
What lifestyle do you aspire to?
What will this transition mean to you?
What do you need to consider when “graduating” from your work life to your post-work life?
Will you re-create yourself or will it be a minor tweaking?
What and how we think about our work, our identity and our life has a powerful impact on how we approach the the last stages of our work. Our thinking patterns also impacts our ability to step heartedly into our own version of retirement and life.
We will acquaint you with your retirement role models, look at some of the current literature, and explore retirement planning from a variety of angles (health and wellness, intellect, relationships, and spirit). What does a happy and fulfilling retirement look like for you? What do you need to do to make it happen? What barriers do you see? What is stopping you? What are your hopes and fears in relation to retirement? Are these attached to lifelong patterns you would like to change?
We will use “The Work” a powerful self inquiry tool for engaging limiting beliefs and patterns, to explore your own thinking where it limits you in what you might do and who you might be in this chapter of your own life journey.
We will conclude with the opportunity to develop your personalized plan for your retirement lifestyle.
